Rivers Edge Fellowship

On July 13, 2019, 10 volunteers showed up at the 500 Block of Locust Street to participate in block façade repairs & litter clean-up. They installed trash cans and dog waste stations as well as scraping and painting neighborhood doors and windows.

 

 

Churchtowne Neighbors

On July 13, 2019, 25 resident volunteers came together at the 500 block of North Street for a neighborhood cleanup. They focused on scraping and repainting porches, railing and doors. They also provided trash tote for all their neighbors.

 

 

Beautifying Atlantic

Eleven neighbors worked together at the 400 block of Atlantic Avenue on July 27, 2019 to adopt their block. They cleaned up trash, installed beautiful flower planters and painted neighborhood railings and doors.

 

 

Plaza San Juan

Across five project days of June 6, July 25, July 31, August 1, and August 9, 2019, over 60 volunteers adopted the 100 Locust Street block and participated in a neighborhood cleanup day. They also worked together to install new signage, planters, and trash can, even painting the main building and fence.

 

 

TCP Network

A total of 37 volunteers worked together on May 18, 2019 to clean up the inside and outside of the historic Crispus Attucks Cultural Center. The cleanup cleared the way for future programming to take place in the evolving locus of the Southeast community.

 

 

Putting the How in Howard Ave

Over two project days on June 8 and 20, 2019, 22 volunteers worked together to cleanup multiple properties along the 100 block of historic Howard Avenue. In addition to adopting the block, our participants installed a new fence, trash can, and planters for many neighbors, adding hugely to the beauty of the block.

 

 

#HopeForHoward

Twenty-two volunteers came together on August 8, 2019 to install a trash can and planters. They also worked together to complete a whole street cleanup while building community with one another at the same time.
