What We Do

The duty of the Housing Authority is to ensure a healthy living environment for low income persons through decent, affordable housing. Originally established in 1949 to build and administer the Hickory Tree Heights (now called Clermont) project, the Lancaster City Housing Authority is responsible for developing and administering public housing, with the current emphasis on scattered-site housing. The Authority also administers federal housing assistance programs.

Note: Meeting will be moved to Tuesday if the scheduled day falls on a National Holiday.
