City of Lancaster Announces New Neighborhood Engagement Programs

Today, the City of Lancaster’s Department of Neighborhood Engagement announced its 2022 slate of initiatives, including returning programs such as Love Your Block and new grant programs supporting community-based art and improved community-police relationships. 

The list of programs include: 

• Love Your Block Community Building Grants 
• Love Your Block Community Art Grants 
• Community and Police Working Group Grants 
• Mayor’s Block Party Grants 
• Neighborhood Leaders Academy 
• Neighborhood Pride Survey 
• Neighbor of the Month 

“We are very excited to see what challenges and solutions Lancaster City residents submit this year, especially for the new grants that support community art projects and initiatives that align with the efforts of the Community & Police Working Group” said Gabrielle Buzgo, Programs Manager for the Department of Neighborhood Engagement. “I think we are all ready to rekindle relationships with our neighbors and build new connections after spending so much time apart.”
