City of Lancaster, Pennsylvania
Regarding the City’s Federal
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
SUBSTANTIAL PROGRAM CHANGES
The City of Lancaster proposes substantial amendments to its CDBG programs to add an activity and amend one activity in Lancaster’s Fiscal Year 2016 “Annual Action Plan”.
It is proposed that $10,000 in unspent 2015 CDBG funds be used to add a new Crime Prevention Program under the Lancaster City Alliance. Funds will be used to expand the Bike Ambassador Program in a 10-block area in the Northeast of the City.
It is also proposed that the Fair Housing Program be amended to an Administrative activity rather than a Public Services activity.
The City will accept citizen comments regarding these two proposed, CDBG Program Amendments for 30 days (September 2 to October 3, 2016). Persons interested in commenting on the proposed Amendments should contact Kari Shrom at firstname.lastname@example.org. For additional information regarding these Amendments, call the Department at (717) 291-4743 (voice) or (717) 291-4761 (TDD) Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
