Due to the Christmas and New Year’s holidays, City offices will be closed on: Thursday, December 25; Friday, December 26; and Thursday, January 1.
There will be no Street Cleaning on Thursday, December 25 or Thursday, January 1.
City curbside collection of trash and recyclables scheduled for December 25 & 26 and January 1 & 2 will be delayed one day. Residents with Friday collection are reminded to set out trash and recycling at curbside by 2:00 AM on Saturday morning since Penn Waste will begin early.
The Recycling Drop Off Center located at 850 New Holland Avenue will be closed December 25 and January 1 for the holiday and will also close early at 12:00 PM (Noon) on Christmas Eve, December 24. The Center will be open regular hours on Friday, December 26 (10:00 AM – 5:00 PM) and Saturday, December 27 (8:00 AM – Noon). Regular operating hours are in effect for December 31 and January 2-3.
Residents are encouraged to recycle holiday packaging including corrugated cardboard, gift boxes and wrapping paper either at curbside or delivery to the Drop Off Center.
