Sewer Maintenance Work
Contractors for City of Lancaster's Department of Public Works will be performing nececessary sewer maintenance beginning Tuesday May 8th 2012. As a result of this week-long project, the following traffic and parking impacts should be expected:
-- Charlotte Street will be CLOSED at Orange Street. Both lanes will be forced to turn right to travel west on Orange. Detour signage will be utilized to access 0462 (King Street) and 0999 (Manor Street). A message board is in place to provide motorists advance notice of this temporary traffic change.
-- King Street will be restricted to a single lane in the vicinity of this work, as the work will be occurring in the northern (left) lane of King Street, at the intersection of Charlotte Street. Work zone signage will be posted to reflect this lane restriction.
-- Parking will be restricted in the vicinity of the King Street Work Zone and merge approach.
Orange Street (Entire City Limits)
