Reuben Baer Mansion
141 East Orange Street

This residence was built in 1874 for a partner in the firm that published the popular Baer's Almanac. It is Lancaster's best example of an asymmetrical Italianate villa. (Directly opposite is the circa 1851 Greek Revival First Presbyterian Church; the steeple was added in 1877, three years after the Baer Mansion was completed across the street.)
