Jacob Eichholtz House

This circa 1805 Federal style rowhouse was home to Lancaster's noted portrait painter, Jacob Eichholtz, during the last decade of his life, from 1831 until 1842. Eichholtz commissioned the construction of a two-story addition, attached at the right rear corner of the house, to use as his painting room and gallery.
