Recycling in Residential Units
City of Lancaster recycling requirements for residential units are as follows:
- Glass containers
- Aluminum and Steel cans
- Plastic bottles
- Newspapers
- Leaf and Woody materials
Trash and recycling must be set out after 6:00pm the night before collection and removed by 8:00pm the day of collection. Trash and recycling receptacles must be stored to the side or rear of the property, not in front of the property.
