Neighbor of the Month: Rosalind Dickinson

Congratulations to Rosalind Dickinson who was named Neighbor of the Month for January!

Rosalind, a valued member of the SoWe initative, has lived in her home on Poplar Street for ten years. While most of her seven siblings are spread throughout the country, she is a Lancaster County native originally from Nine Points.

The neighbor that nominated Rosalind said, "Rosalind is a connector on her block. She was the first to sign up as SoWe's Block Liaison. She has connected countless people to the SoWe initiative. Her block has taken the lead to have the highest number of SoWe porch lights thanks to her efforts. Rosalind is also a key individual on our Neighborhood Connections committee."

Rosalind is a caregiver for Connections at Home VIA Willow Valley, and outside of work and SoWe commitments, she attends the Woship Center in Leola, is a member of the Professional Hive women's group, volunteers at the Water Street Rescue Mission, and is a member of the Free Bird travel club. She enjoys photography, crafts, playing the clarinet, riding her bike. Her favorite restraunt is Jethro's Restaurant and Bar, and she loves walking or biking to Brandon Park.

We thank Rosalind for her comitment to Lancaster City and her SoWe neighbors!
