The 41st Annual Red Rose Run will take place on Saturday, June 3 in Downtown Lancaster. The race begins at 7:55 am on the 100 block of North Queen Street.
Over 1,000 runners are expected to run the time-honored five mile run through Lancaster City and Lancaster County Park.
Saturday, June 3
- 100 block of North Queen Street will close at 7:00 am.
- The reminder of the course will close at 7:45 am.
- The 100 and 200 blocks of North Queen Street will reopen last at approximately 10:30 am with other streets along the course opening as the end vehicle passes.
Please note the following information about parking restrictions:
The race route parking restrictions have been posted for the 100, 200 and 300 blocks of N. Queen Street, 100 block of E. Lemon Street, and Duke Street between Walnut and Church Streets. There are large red and white “No Parking” signs and yellow signs that provide specific parking restrictions for Saturday. This year, parking along S. Duke Street starting at Church Street will not be restricted. The roadway is very wide, runners have thinned out by that point in the race, and finding alternative parking is difficult in the neighborhoods surrounding the S. Duke Street corridor.
